Dyeing a wrap involves simple mathematics. Ponder this equation for a moment: What does atrocious brown + any color overdyed = ?.
The answer: An even Uglier brown, muddy mess.
(I failed math but that is beside the point)
So into the pot to get stripped did our Ugly go...
Feel the heat...
Simmer, simmer, little wrap...
Mmmm...this water looks promising...

Three and a half hours later...wrap still looks very saturated indeed. Starting to get impatient.

I'm tired of stirring. I'm hot. The fan over my stovetop is giving me a headache.
Time to take that bugger out!
Rinse until cool enough to toss into washer, delicate cycle, toss in dryer on low, remove from dryer to hang dry, have hubby ask why I was boiling a wrap and what the funny smell of wet laundry in the house was, go to bed and dream about boiling wraps...
Wake up to find my very unpleasant Ugly brown wrap gone a lovely shade of...peach?
Harumph. Not the change I was hoping for.
To be continued...

2 Lovin's:
well it looks like a start at least... ?? *shrugging* good luck with the next step!! :)
That's really not so bad! The peach is a big improvement from that starting shade. But I can't wait to see what you do with it next!
