This is a foldable sizing system, meaning that to make these diapers fit a smaller child you simply fold down the front and snap the wings as tightly as needed. Vilate has a wonderful tutorial on her blog about how to diaper a newborn or small baby. Nifty Nappy one-size fitteds are already very trim diapers, so when folded they are bulky but still less bulky than many other OS fitteds on the smallest size. It is a little hard to get the correct rise in a OS diaper without consequently adding more bulk. They give Brax quite the fluffy bum and may need a larger cover or cover setting for duos.In very exciting Nifty Nappy news, Vilate has announced that she is launching a line of newborn diapers called Bitty Bums! Vilate asked me to test out her line before she announced it. Here is Brax snoozing in his chocolate zoo print Bitty Bum:

I adore Bitty Bums. They are everything I love about the Nifty Nappy one-size diaper in miniaturized version. They are soft and squishy and super absorbent without all the bulk between the legs of many diapers on newborns.
Kudos to Vilate for branching out with these diapers. They give us Nifty Nappy users the economical option of sticking with the OS and having some extra fluff on the bum, or (adorable) perfectly sized diapers for little booties. Oh yeah, and to celebrate the new product launch they are on sale right now at Little Squigglers.Fine Print: The opinions expressed here are solely my own.
