Oh. Hi there. I didn't know you were going to stop by. It's such a mess in here. Please ignore the baby toys scattered about the floor, the cheerio-encrusted carpet, the stacks of laundry in the corners. I was just going to clean up when you arrived. I am so embarassed. Please, sit down. Oh just push aside the cloth diapers, the bibs, the bread crumbs. Yup, right there.

Mama

I'm a young conservative, Christian wife & girlfriend to my hubby and stay-home mommy to my Moose and his little brother Mack Truck. Even though I breastfed for over a year, babywear and cloth diaper I will never admit to being crunchy (I much prefer the term "lightly toasted"). I'm shy in person but openly opinionated when you get to know me.

Papa

My amazing husband and best friend. We met, five months later he proposed, and 5 months after that we were married. Originally from Russia, we have a lot of fun scrambling Russian and English words to create our own language and often end up in hysterical laughter over unimportant arguments that become lost in translation. He works very hard so that I can stay home and be a Mommy to Moose and Mack.

Moose

Moose is our oldest son at 28-months. I am often asked why he is so serious, and I call him my "tough crowd." He is shy and always studies new people before trusting them enough to come out from behind my legs. He used to be my strong, silent baby but has blossomed into my chatty toddler (as long as he is comfortable in his environment). I am proud to say that he has inherited my love for sushi! He sleeps beautifully through the night but would rather skip nap time altogether.

Brax

Mack Truck (previously known as Brax) is our second son and little brother to Moose. What a happy boy he is! He loves to be snuggled and worn and gets a mega-watt smile when getting smooches, whether they be from Mama or Papa or Big Brother. He is a sweet little bug and brings so much joy to our home. I am keepin' the faith that someday he will once again sleep through the night.
