does this mean i won't be able to sleep again...ever?

You know what I just realized?

I'm going to have a newborn in just a few months. Yes, a newborn. Which basically means a ball of squishy cuteness that will do nothing but sleep, cry, eat and poop.

Not only that, but I'm also going to have a toddler. I mean, I already have a toddler. So its not like thats something new. Its just that I am going to have a newborn and a toddler at the same time.

And guess what else I just realized?

Someday my newborn and toddler will grow up to be teenage boys. Who eat like their Papa. Which means I am going to have at least three men eating me out of house and home. At least three men who will put my life on the line every time I let them drive the car. At least three men who will want to do crazy stuff that puts their own life on the line.

And even further down the line, it means I will have at least two daughters-in-law.

For now I am just going to focus on surviving a newborn and toddler.

If you do end up with all boys I imagine the DIL's will end up being a breath of fresh air :P

And when the boys are a little older you don't have to compete for "queen of the house" title. You get to be the only girl in their lives until their grown and married!

I freaked out a bit before Lucy came, because of the unknown. But we just focus on the best things we are gaining instead of the, um, slightly scary things :)

Haha, I've always wanted a houseful of boys! *Maybe* we can have one daughter. But the amount of food they will consume scares me :D

That made me smile! Too cute!

It's the daughter-in-law part that scares me. I hear so many bad stories from friends who have problems with their in-laws. I don't want to be that kind of MIL!

:0) This is how I felt when I was close to having my second. I can't believe that I am no considering my 3rd! Two is difficult and wonderful all wrapped into one! You'll love it.

oh man.....two boys that wat like D!!! You will never be able to keep food in the house! You will probably have to buy a cow farm just to keep meat in the house!
They will be so much fun though! :)

Never think that far ahead... It's too scary to face right now! LOL!

I have a toddler and a baby and you will survive :) I will admit that those first few months are super rough though. It took some major adjustments on my daughter's part. I had them 22 months apart.

With all boys you will also have at least 3 men who will give their life to save yours! That is a very comforting thought :)

Hi! Thanks for the Friday Follow! I'm following back.

I hate to tell you this but my son is six and my daughter is three and I have forgotten what sleep is like! However, they are worth every bit of the dark circles permanently under my eyes!

I love the pic of your hands around Moose's feet. So beautiful!
Have a great day!

Following you right back!! I can't wait to see pictures of your new little one when it comes! My one son was premature and when he finally came home he would sleep for 1hr and be up for 2 or 3 for about a month!! The rest were pretty normal sleepers though!!

Happy to stop by from Friday Follow! I'm your newest follower. I can relate to your frightening realizations of what a newborn means! I just had my second daughter four months ago - thankfully, she's a much better sleeper than my oldest! Wishing the same for you!

I'd love for you to drop by my blog sometime!

You can do it! My toddler was a bit older (2 1/2) when Baby B was born. The trick is to try to get them to take at least one nap at the same time so that you can sit down and put your feet up for a bit.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and following!

It's hard to believe my baby is almost a year old, but I guess that goes to show, you can survive a toddler and a newborn. It's crazy and most days you will feel like you have Alzheimers, but it's all good. Right now my daughter has learned how to give kisses, and you know who her favorite kissee is? Yup, her big brother. Makes me melt. You'll love having two, even though you might wonder why you ever thought it was a good idea. haha. :)

LOL. Sorry to say, but you might not ever sleep again.... at least not for awhile :)

I have three boys and then hubby counts as number four. I wonder the same things..... If I'll live through this journey or not.

But they're all worth it! I look forward to following your blog as we both discover this journey :)
