BBB Day 2: Moose Loves Mommy Necklaces....and has one for you!

I am so excited to be reviewing a product that I have loved for such a long time. Mommy Necklaces became a big part of my life when Moose got to the age where he just would not sit still during nursing. I was in desperate need of a nursing necklace to keep him focused on the task at hand, but I just could not find anything out there that would not only do the job, but that I would actually wear in public. Then I found Mommy Necklaces. Immediately I was drawn in by the beautiful colors, the neat beading combinations, the variety of pendant choices. As I read further into them I found out that they were not only beautiful necklaces, but a very safe option as well. The beads were tested and lead-free. The cording is super-strong and the clasp (my favorite part of the whole necklace!) is a pop-clasp. So the necklace stays on unless you tug vigorously, at which point the clasp pops open instead of breaking the cord and having beads fly every which way. I made my first purchase shortly after that and have been hooked ever since.

When my first Mommy Necklace arrived I was so impressed with the quality of the beads. They are acrylic, but they feel heavier than expected and very high quality. The necklaces look beautiful in photos, but I must say that they are even more stunning in person. The clasp is strong and takes quite a tug to actually pop off. I cannot tell you how many times my son has yanked so hard on the necklace that the clasp has popped open. Thank goodness I had that special clasp, otherwise beads would have gone everywhere!

I love Mommy Necklaces so much that I am now the proud owner of SIX Mommy Necklaces and I hope to add more to my collection in the {very near} future. See? There's me being a dork in my newest necklace, Inspired. I can also truthfully say that I wear one just about every day. I love all their collections, their pendant options. I also love that I can do a custom order if I don't see exactly what I want in one of their collections, although I must say that is hard to do since they offer such a variety.

Mommy Necklaces have changed nursing for us. No, really, they have. When I wear my Mommy Necklaces my son stops the hitting, the clawing, sticking his fingers in my nose and pulling on my hair. He actually relaxes and focuses on the task at hand. Plus, I get to reap the benefits of getting to wear such a beautiful necklace without the stress of whether or not my son will rip the fine chain and lose expensive gold and diamond pendants.
