Suprises
Finding a $20 bill in the pocket of a coat you haven't worn in years. Flowers without occasion. A compliment from a complete stranger. A sweet note left on your pillow. An acquaintance remembering your birthday. Finding your missing watch under a couch cushion. Your husband walking into the kitchen to tell you he has decided to trim your son's hair.

Oh my goodness! Why did he do that? I don't think I'd be speaking to Michael for a while if he did that without consulting me first.
I laughed. And cried. I'm not mad, though, it will grow back. And he does look very cute.

OMG! What did you do??? Did he keep some of his 1st hair for you to store for memories? A lot of moms have told me they shaved their sons hair and it grew back thicker.
I'm just shaking my head in awe/disbelief. But he is still very cute.

Sounds like you handled it with grace. I probably would've had a fit, although your baby is adorable either way.
